C’est dans le cadre prestigieux des salons du YACHT CLUB DE MONACO en Principauté Monégasque qui est aussi le siège social du MONACO PRESS CLUB Présidé par son nouveau Président Jean-Pierre MARGOSSIAN depuis cette année 2012, que s’est tenu avec le MONACO PRESSE CLUB le traditionnel déjeuner de Presse du matin à partir de 8h30.

Un débat d’ordre scientifique et médical était ouvert sur les possibilités de greffe de sang de cordon ombilical ainsi que sur celles de la greffe osseuse de la moelle épinière sur l’Humain.

Ce long exposé médical a été animé et développé par le Professeur Eliane GLUCKMAN Professeur émérite d’Hématologie de l’Hôpital Saint LOUIS à Paris, qui est aussi la pionnière en France en matière de la greffe de cordon ombilical depuis plus de 20 ans déjà.

Elle était accompagnée en cela par le Docteur MOUROU Docteur en Pharmacie, Membre du Conseil d’Administration du Centre Scientifique de MONACO ainsi que Membre du Comité Consultatif Diocésain de Bioéthique de MONACO.

Aux cours des débats nous avons pu assister à l’intervention du Professeur Patrick RAMPAL Doyen Honoraire de la Faculté de Médecine de Nice, Chef du service au Centre Hospitalier PRINCESSE GRACE ainsi que Président du Centre Scientifique de MONACO.

Dans l’assistance des personnalités qui étaient venus assister à ce débat scientifique et médical, on pouvait remarquer la présence de Monseigneur Bernard BARSI Archevêque de MONACO qui intervenait lui aussi sur l’éthique à tenir en matière de « Bioéthique » sur de tels procédés appliqués sur l’Humain.

A debate on scientific and medical possibilities was opened on transplant of umbilical cord blood as well as those of bone grafting of the spinal cord of the Human.

This long exposure was facilitated medical and developed by Professor Eliane Gluckman Professor Emeritus of Hematology of Hospital Saint Louis in Paris, which is also the pioneer in France in the umbilical cord transplant over 20 years.

She was joined in this by Dr. Mourou Doctor of Pharmacy, Member of the Board of Scientific Centre of MONACO and Member of the Diocesan Advisory Committee on Bioethics MONACO.

During the debates we were able to attend the speech by Professor Patrick Rampal Honorary Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Nice, Chief of the Princess Grace Hospital and Chairman of the Scientific Center of MONACO.

Personalities in the audience who had come to attend scientific and medical debate, one could notice the presence of Monsignor Bernard Barsi, Archbishop of MONACO who was speaking also on ethics to hold on "Bioethics" on such methods applied on the Human.
